Hope Medal
The Hope Medal is awarded to an individual or group (Lion or non-Lion) who demonstrates outstanding charitable achievement in their community. The Hope Medal was designed by PDG Gunter Zionn in 2000. The design of the Hope Medal with a green and white ribbon represents Hope and Peace and displays three maple leaves; one for each of the three districts we serve: 5M10, 5M11 and 5M13. *Minimum contribution $400
HOPE How many diseases, how many disabilities and pain must a child or person endure in fear? Obligation we have together to extend our hand to help with pride to make a dream or hope even for one life. Passion and compassion conquers reason of fears and torture, they cry for help but shed no tear. Embrace the little heroes when they smile, inherit their delight, reap the laughter of happiness then you can say “We Serve – we’ve done well.”
