We are “hear” for you. Our intention is to enable individuals affected by hearing loss to be able to achieve their goals with optimum results and minimal disruption. We support, promote and foster programs for individuals with a hearing impairment.

• Kids Hear Program – Lions Foundation of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario, in partnership with regional Lions Clubs, offers a quick, simple hearing screening program for children. It takes seconds, it is hand-free, and we come to your daycare, school or public event. Lions Foundation has purchased highly specialized and sophisticated cameras that can detect hearing issues easily and quickly in children aged six months to eighteen years. Our Lion Volunteers will let the families, and the schools know if your child requires a follow-up visit to the audiologist. We believe that early detection and intervention in hearing problems can change the course of a child’s life.

• We provide funding assistance to individuals for hear-related issues.

• Hearing Aid Recycle Program – we collect and recycle hearing aid  for children and adults

• Pediatric Hearing Aid Loaner Program – available to children identified with permanent hearing loss in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
